"Tents from the inside" event
During the Sukkot holiday, we hosted an exciting event called "Tents from the Inside". For three days, our friends from the Jahalin tribe graciously opened their tents and hearts to offer hospitality at their beautiful Khan Al Ahmar.
Hundreds of families attended, creating a delightful atmosphere where smiles adorned every face. Children from both guest families and the local community played together, forming natural bonds only children can create. Adults leisurely strolled around the Khan, finding comfort in the tents, while women generously cooked and entertained all who visited.
For us, this collaborative effort with our friends from Bnei Jahalin only deepened our connection, reaffirming the presence of desire, care, and trust. As for the attendees, it was heartening to witness people who were unfamiliar with the Khan's story and the Bnei Jahalin gradually connect, listen, comprehend, and realize that behind the daunting headlines lie individuals simply seeking to live their lives, much like us.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, hosted, and extended their hospitality. You have all contributed to a meaningful and essential union of hearts.
