Rebuilding the tent of Daoud Suleiman's family
In the winter of 2018, Suleiman Daoud's tent burned down in Khan al-Ahmar. The family members were saved, but were left destitute. The Friends of the Jahalin group mobilized for the cause - and we raised 10,000 NIS within 24 hours, together with the local community. Within a few hours, a new tent was erected through a joint effort and we were able to set up a new home for the family to live in. The shocked family could breathe a sigh of relief.
